# Nepal\-Made Yatri P\-2 Electric Scooter Boosts National Confidence: Finance Minister Wagle

Kathmandu: Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has unveiled the Yatri P-2, an electric scooter designed and manufactured in Nepal.

Unveiling the scooter on Monday, Wagle said the locally designed and manufactured electric scooter has strengthened national confidence and demonstrated Nepal’s potential in technology and manufacturing.

The scooter, manufactured by Sipradi Yatri, is designed in Budhanilkantha and produced in Dhading.

“Those who say nothing can be done in Nepal should take this as a message that Nepal can do something remarkable,” Wagle said, emphasizing that the Yatri electric scooter has created a sense of national confidence.

Wagle also expressed his hope that the Yatri P-2 would outperform renowned Italian brands and expand into international markets.

He further pledged that the government would provide necessary support and protection to help expand Nepal-made electric vehicles and promote domestic production.

The launch of the Yatri P-2 is being viewed as an important milestone for Nepal’s growing electric vehicle and domestic manufacturing sector.
